About Soar Research Foundation (SRF)

Established as a mission-oriented Contract Research Organization (CRO) with a robust private research consultancy and training services.

Soar Research Foundation (SRF)

Pioneering Excellence in African Research and Development.

Soar Research Foundation (SRF) has emerged as a beacon for research excellence in Africa. The foundation originated as a grass-root research consultancy in 2010, evolving into a licensed company in Uganda in 2019 after nine years of refining its operational model.

01
Mission and Health-Focused Intervention
SRF's mission is deeply rooted in addressing the pressing challenges facing Africa, recognizing health as a fundamental human right and a key contributor to crises and impoverishment on the continent. The foundation identifies and addresses the escalating health threats in Africa by actively participating in the implementation of research, training of researchers, and providing expertise and infrastructure to support research in low-resource settings.
02
Private-Public Partnership Model
In response to the limited engagement of the private sector in developing skilled researchers, SRF has pioneered a private-public partnership model and the SRF model for research human resource development. This strategic approach minimizes the loss of research human resources and enhances the cultivation of skilled researchers by providing continuous opportunities for research training, mentorship, consultancy, platform creation for research design and implementation, infrastructure services, and human resources services.
03
Wide Spectrum of Research Services
SRF offers comprehensive services, including the implementation, coordination, and quality monitoring of various research types such as observational studies, feasibility studies, program evaluations, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, and clinical trials. The foundation has established itself as a reliable partner to international entities, actively involved in implementing and overseeing global health research engagements.
04
Open Doors for Diverse Partnerships
The doors of SRF are open to a diverse range of entities, including university staff, students, independent researchers, national and international private or public organizations, and international universities. SRF welcomes collaboration with non-African visiting students seeking experience in Global Health research and extends support to governments, private companies, and hospitals for building robust data management and analysis systems.
