Ms. Kanyana Racheal is the Language Translation and Transcription Officer at SRF-RTC. She has 12 years of professional experience across health, communication, and client service roles. She holds a Diploma in Commercial Art and Design (Ndejje University) and a Certificate in Ophthalmic Theatre Nursing (Ruharo Eye Centre). Before joining SRF-RTC, she worked at Dr. Arunga’s Eye Hospital as an ophthalmic theatre nurse, dispenser, and optical assistant, gaining expertise in patient care, theatre operations, dispensing, and optical support. She also worked with the Insurance Company of East Africa (ICEA) as executive sales personnel, where she specialized in client acquisition, relationship management, and business development. At SRF-RTC, she leads translation and transcription services, supporting research data collection, processing, and dissemination. She has training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP), basics in ophthalmology, and extensive skills in communication, client care, and patient education.
