Alice Berigija: Chair of the SRF Institutional Community Advisory Board (SRF-CAB). Retired and previously working as the Acting branch manager of the AIDS Information Centre in Mbarara. She has a great experience in Community health service delivery that she accumulated through her many year of work at AIC and Straight talk Uganda. She brings a reach experience in how health interventions can be implemented within the community while taking communities as key partners in the process. She has served on various Institutional CABs including at MSF-Epicentre and has served as a community member on the research Ethics Committee of Mbarara University of Science and Technology for over 5 years. In the process, she has receive valuable training in research ethics and how to review a diversity of research designs to ensure sound and responsible research that safe-guards community rights/safety and that benefits the community. Her experience is key in guiding our research planning but also translation efforts.
